Pink
Streets
The Pink Streets are the original part of the Greater Pinellas Point area. Pinellas Point offers one of the largest waterfront areas in St. Petersburg. The views of Tampa Bay are spectacular, and the area is heavily populated by pelicans, osprey, herons and ibis. Several Gated estates overlook the stunning waterfront views. The Pink Streets make up the eastern edge of Pinellas Point, and the area got its name from the unique pink-tinted winding roads. The streets and homes here are canopied by huge Live Oaks offering gentle shade and providing lush tropical gardens. The homes represent a wide variety of architectural styles in this eclectic and beautiful neighborhood. |
